About Tassos Grill
Tassos Kalogirou: The Grandfather Who Built Tassos Grill in 1989
assos Village Grill in the old village of Moraitika was established in 1989 by Tassos Kalogirou. This family taverna is now owned by his son Kostas, his wife Rachel and their sons Alex and George, and has come along way since those early days.
Tassos started the taverna serving light meals for his guests. He was one of the first in Moraitika to introduce The Grill’ to cook, which has remained popular to this day.
The typical greek family values of the taverna have not changed. They continue to offer a traditional greek menu including fresh grilled meat, fresh fish and seafood and the warmest of Greek hospitality.

Today People Always Notice The Little Things....
Our House Guests
ur house guests have appeared again this year. This time they are a family of 6 (2+4) birds.
They have all normally left the nest by the end of June, but not before being photographed by many of our customers..
Getting Ready To Fly
he nest gets a little busy in early June as the young ones grow.
In early season, the birds probably have more photographs taken of them by guests than anything else in the Taverna
Flowers & Plants
e always try to maintain the flowers and plants in the taverna.
Not only do our customers comment on the frangrence, but we think it adds a little colour and it is always a talking point.
New Sign Is Ready
hank you to Annie Humphries – a local artist, who gave us a new sign.
It is certainley a colourful improvement.
It can been seen in the village square near tro the church
